SCAM CALL from Money Mutual - fake loan offer
On September 18, 2018, I received a call from 775-319-****. A person with an extremely heavy accent left a voice mail message saying my loan application was approved for $5,000.
This person said his name was "Marco" with Money Mutual. He requested that I call back with my bank account number, home address, social security number, place of employment, date of birth and other personally identifying information. Does Money Mutual think people would actually fall for this kind of obvious scam? Evidently so since they employ people who can barely speak English to scam people.
He called my personal, unlisted number that is also on the "Do Not Call Registry".
I never applied for any loan and have never heard of this company. I will be reporting this scam to the FTC.
